Our wedding party can be descibed as: ESSENTIAL

Maid of Honour: Dr. Tracey Nicholas - Hanson

Best man: Mr. Colin Wiggett

Mother Giver: Ms. Inez Thompson

Father Giver: Mr. George Hanson

Ms. Inez THOMPSON

Inez Thompson is the proud and loving mother of three beautiful daughters: Suzette, Colette and Pearlette.

She single-handedly nurtured three children and yet was still able to manage to educate two of them at a University level!!! Never was there a day that her kids went without the necessities of life. She instilled pride, determination, humility and good character in ALL her children. She served as a great role model filling both father and mother caps with dignity and great achievement. She is intelligent and delighted in reading the three weekly newspapers along with listening to every news broadcast on radio AND television when she lived in St. Vincent. As a result, she became very knowledgeable and her kids won many a General Knowledge radio and newspaper quizz as she ALWAYS had the answers.

She is a woman of many talents: She cooks and bakes better than any culinary trained chef and would be sure to challenge and beat Bobby Flay in one her favourite programs, Iron Chef America. She can tell you about all the winners and more popular contestants on American Idol from season 1 to current; she never misses an episode. She also is a talented seamstress who used to sew all the curtains for her house along with the chair cushion covers every year for Christmas. She also did this for several of her friends with the recruited assistance of her kids.

A significant trait that cannot go unnoticed, is her uncanny ability at accounting and finance. This lady can stretch a dollar!!!!!! By example, she taught her children how to save at an early age and how to be 'money-smart'. One of the things she used to say often was: "The time you took to take an item on hire purchase, save that money each month and then buy the item cash; you would pay significantly less overall". However, this took patience and discipline, qualities she starred at.

She now resides in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.

Shall always love and adore you, Mummy ..............

Dr. Tracey Ann NICHOLAS - HANSON

Trace, as I'm the ONLY one allowed to call her; everyone else calls her Tracey...... and I met during an Anatomy lecture in September, 1992. The place was an over-crowded lecture theatre housing 140 students on the Mona Campus, Kingston, Jamaica!!! I was late {as usual - yes people; that is me from time immemorial :)} and had already passed 7 people in the row to get to a 'prized seat' in the center of the lecture theatre seating ONLY to find the seat broken :( HENCE why the seat was "available" in the crowded lecture theatre 10 minutes after the lecture had started. Mortified that I would have to excuse myself AGAIN to the 7 people I JUST passed and disturbed from following the lecture, my eyes caught Trace's and she shifted over in her seat (which was right next to the broken chair) and I sat down, having exhaled!!!!!! Yes, we were BOTH under 80 pounds at the time and whilst she was 5' 0", I towered at 5'2"; so we fitted WITH room to spare in the seat LOL. After the lecture, we introduced ourselves and found out we were living on the same dormitory for a week and NEVER saw/met each other before!!!!!!!! So we walked back together to the dorm after classes that day chatting away; that lasted near 7 hours!!!!!! We have been inseparable since........ We have been mistaken for each other and know each other inside out. She can complete my sentences for me, predict my every move in ANY situation and order exactly at a restaurant for me!!! And I, likewise for her. We have no secrets from each other and are equally afraid of each other lol We usually size each other up during a disagreement and the one with the most bristle wins. We are neck to neck so far........ It was no surprise to anyone who knew us, that after internship in Jamaica, Trace travelled to St. Vincent with me to work for two years before we BOTH went back to Jamaica to pursue our respective post-graduate studies. We were apart for the first time in 15 years when she returned to her home country of Belize after completing her degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

She currently is a Consultant at the chief hospital in Belize City, Belize and runs several thriving private practices. She is also the proud wife of George Hanson (whom she knew from childhood) and loving mom to a son, Shayne and a daughter, Vanya. She loves baking and I can testify that she is VERY good at it (despite NEVER following a recipe but always insists on using one) and is a keen homemaker. She is the only daughter of her parents' five children.

Thank you Trace ................. Love YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. George Hanson

I heard about George waay before I met him in June, 2011 when I visited Belize to attend his marriage to Trace.

We hit it off from the beginning........ A gentle giant is what I thought of him when we met:) And I was able to see for myself all his worldly qualities: loving; caring; considerate; friendly; funny; helpful; industrious; athletic. It was obvious that he loved and was in love with Trace and that their marriage was going to be a great one.

Let me recall how cool a guy he is...................... He and Trace were dating. It was Trace's bday and I called her at 9am (the day was Saturday) to wish her well. 30 minutes into the conversation, George came by with flowers and her bday gifts. When he found out that I was on the phone, he said hi to me, kissed Trace and wished her a Happy Birthday and left. He said, "I will have her for the rest of the day and week and years to come; so you, Colette, can have her for the next few hours" {he knew that when we got to talking, it was NEVER for a few minutes :)}. He also knew that because of time constraints and the fact that Trace and I were living in different countries, we did not get to talk very often anymore. He recognized and encouraged that special bond Trace and I shared - to this day. Trace and he got together later that day to resume her bday celebrations with him.

Thank you George..........................

George was sweet enough to agree to be my father giver, my father not being here to attend.
