One night she was looking at Mother's rings on different websites and I suggested that she get sized for me to get one for her.  The next week she went into local jewelers to get sized.  I later then tricked her into helping me pick a style by thinking she was helping Dace pick out a possible ring for his girlfriend.  From there I picked out her ring.  Then I decided propose on our 1 year anniversary.  That morning during our bathroom remodel, I through my back out and decided to still ask her to marry me.  During supper that night I was very nervous and was pacing around the table with it in my pocket.  While relaxing on the deck after supper I got down on one knee to ask her to marry me.  After she said "yes" I asked her to help me get back up.
