| although it has been a wonderful eventful week of the bahamas, there comes a time time to head back. Really been missing the family. Weeding, honeymoon, diving, dolphins, beach time, water park, aquariums, lots of walking!!!!!!!!!, and of course lots of eating. The first thing we did when we arrived was enjoyed time alone in the hammock and the last thing we did before we head back to the airport was spend alone time in the hammock. It is time for our departure. We will see everyone back home in a few hours. We will be greatly missed here in Nassau by our new friends. BYE BYE BAHAMAS, HEADED HOME AS MR AND MRS MORE :) Whew... well we made it through our first day as a married couple, and no we did not feed eachother to the sharks. We had our opportunity to do so on our last dive here at Barracuda Shoals today. We did see several sharks, and it is very spooky how they just disappear into the dark blue distance, just like you see in the movies. Our first dive today was at the Lost Blue Hole, a 100 foot wide hole in the ocean floor that dropped down to approximately 300 feet. Very spooky when you hit the edge of the hole to not see anything down below you from there, but we had a great time! ![]() It's Official!!! We are now officially Mr. and Mrs. More! What a wonderful day we have had! We had a long walk last night with plenty of time to run, but both of us stayed! hehehe Weather was perfect! Beach was beautiful! Wonderful Christian ceremony! First dance, cake, champagne toast and a walk on the beach to start our lives together as husband and wife. Now off to play on the beach for the rest of the day before dinner. We went to Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounters today to swim with the dolphins! It was amazing! Not only were we able to touch the dolphins, but interact with them as well. It was an incredible experience! We have video of our dolphin trip to share when we get home. Another day on the water for SCUBA diving. We did our second set and final check dives today. Our first dive was at the De Le Sal wreckage. It appeared to be an old fishing boat that was in several pieces. They said we were at about 60 feet deep but sure didnt feel like it. Felt more like 40-45. The swells were large and serveral people on the boat were getting sick. Was nice when we got down below the surface it was so calm and clear. We found a huge conch shell. It was so pretty. Our second dive was at the White Hole Reef. It was about a 20 ft dive with a whole bunch of fish, including many lion fish. After checking out, and getting the paperwork done, we cam back to Breezes, and laid in the sun and relaxed. It was a very nice day together. It has been a bit windy her for the past few days, but they are expecting it to die down over the next few days leading up to the wedding. Only a few more days to the wedding, and we are so very very excited. Hope everyone is great back home. We have been watching the news about the weather not being very nice back home with all the destruction in KS and OK. We hope everything is good. Take care, and we are thinking about you all. Yesterday was a day full of touring the entire island. Today we went diving and it went very well. First check dive is COMPLETE! Back again tomorrow morning for check dive two. So far have not seen any sharks. thank goodness, but we did see first HUGE lion fish. A bit windy today so hopefully tomorrow will be a bit calmer. Still a whole week to go....diving on Sunday, dolphin swim Monday, WEDDING TUESDAY 11 am EST, pleasure dive Wednesday and Thursday open for well dunno yet. Having fun, keeping busy! We will blog again soon and still trying to figure out a way to post pics.
We are finally here, and very excited that we are only a few days away from beginning the next chapter of our lives together. We have been very busy since our arrival and have pretty much toured the entire island. Done some shopping and yes kids we got you something to. Hope all is well back home, we are already missing you but not quite ready to return. Wedding plans are all fianlized and ceremony has been changed to 11 eastern time. It will be difficult for us to blog and upload pictures but we are working on solutions to keep everyone close back home. Keep checking back and know we are having a great time! ![]() WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED AND READY!!!! It seems it has taken so long to get to this point in our lives, but here we are and we are just about on our way. Problem is....how do we slow down time when we get there? only 9 short days of fun in the sun, scuba diving, dolphin swim, water park, dinner cruise at sunset, OH ya and the wedding....lol Just not enough time, but we will take it and enjoy every minute of it. I think some nerves are setting in to. We have both had to relearn that happiness can and is real, so as we get closer to our wedding, it is nerves that help us realize that this is very much a dream come true. Love is absolutely amazing....when it's real....and you take nothing for granted. STAY TUNED TO THIS SITE...WE WILL BLOG AND UPLOAD PICTURES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE Thanks mom and dad for looking after the kiddos while we are away....we have every intention on returning home (well almost every intention) and if i do not make it back...it was the shark that ate me, ya i'm gonna stick to that story. Hahaha so ironic....the name of this picture is "SHARK FEEDING" We are down to our final days. Todd is still on National Guard leave and won't return until this weekend, then it will seem to feel down to the wire focusing on our trip, wedding and sharing the rest of our lives together. We are so excited!!! It is so wonderful to know God's love and be a part of his blessings. Without a doubt he brought us together and we can share this very rare find in life....true love! There is no greater experience than to know you are exactly where you are suppose to be. ...and the countdown continues... Time flies by and yet when you count the minutes it can be sooo slow. We are getting closer, just a bit over one month. We are so excited and nervous and ready. At what point do you finish packing??? We have started but its just not close enough to pack the rest, YET. We are looking forward to our wedding of course (yeah) but actually when we first arrive we will be scuba diving a few days prior to the wedding. We are very anxious to experience that again and this time in open water. Thanks so much Terry and Lisa for taking the time to train us! You have opened our world up to a bigger one. It will be very hard to leave without the kiddos, but we hope they know how much they will be with us and how much we love them all. Over a week.... teenagers.....home alone....prayers are welcome! we trust ya!
45 days left to go, and yes we are still waiting. Is just so exciting to think that in just 6 weeks we will be on our way to the start of our lives together. We have waited so long, and still we keep waiting. I guess you just can't wait long enough for something so right. Only 57 more days until we leave for the Bahamas!!!! As time gets closer, the more exciting and real it becomes. Plans are made, clothes are chosen, Rings lay waiting, passports received, flight plans are on schedule, first suitcase is out and ready. Until then....just keep waiting, just keep waiting, just keep waaaittingg, waiiittttingggg waiiiitttingggg waiiitttinggg! |
