I'll never forget the first time I saw Andrew. He was sitting at my mom's kitchen table one evening just as I had got to town to see her. He had his back to me and when he turned around and smiled at me I pretty much melted into the floor. I drug my mom in the kitchen and demanded that she tell me who he was. At the time I was living in Missouri, and Andrew was a bit shy. Needless to say our romance took awhile to take off. Andrew was friends with my mom and when she told him that I was going to be moving to Kansas he said to let him know when and he would help me unpack. After he helped me unpack my things, he took me to a bonfire. We talked all night, and every day since.
On May 28, 2012 we had our baby girl Abigail June. What a joy she has been to both of us. She completed our relationship, making us see that we are no longer two people in love; we are a family. She is the best thing that has ever happened to us.
When Andrew and I decided to get married we knew that we wanted something different. Neither big and fancy, nor dealing with the stresses of planning a wedding. We needed to get away! What a more perfect and romantic place than Jamaica? Our ceremony will take place on the beach, each of us standing with one of our dearest friends.
We plan on having our reception in Spring 2013. After we get back and the weather is cooperating a little more. Then we can enjoy celebrating our marriage with all of our family and friends.
Andrew and I would like a chance to thank eveyone who has stood by us these last couple of years. We have been through so much together, and it has made it much easier having people in our lives that have helped us. Thank you so much for everything you have done.
