HER SIDE: It all started when Hosea sent me a friend request on Facebook back in  2011. I had just deleted friends on Facebook that I didn't communicate with often which I do periodically, so I contemplated whether or not I would accept his request. I decided to accept since we both attended the same church.  We sent a few messages back and forth and decided to meet up at the park to play a little softball one day. He twirled his Kappa cane, we danced, sang, and threw a softball and then ate lunch at  my favorite deli. Since then we've created youtube videos, built a house in Mexico with Homes of Hope, supported one another in our dance ministries, and many more experiences. In April 2014, we traveled to Paris,France together. Hosea had been invited out there to dance and teach at a dance conference at the CRC France Church.  On April 5, 2014, after he ministered in dance, Hosea mimed another time for a special presentation which was a proposal to me.I was shocked and stunned and not even sure what was going on at the time. The Pastor and First Lady of the church prayed over us and the entire congregation went wild. I'm excited to become Mrs. Hosea Rodgers III.

HIS SIDE:  I had mimed with the Women of Grace and I noticed Carmalita dancing so gracefully. I decided to facebook her to say hello. We were going back and forth about OU being better than Texas. We started talking about sports and her awesome career in softball and I asked her if she wanted to meet at a park to play some catch. She couldn't resist. That was the start of our beautiful relationship. On April 5th, 2014, in Paris, France, I mimed to When God Made You, Believe, and Another You with words that expressed my unconditonal love. I was ready for this  woman to be my wife. We have had so many first together, that it is only fitting that we are meant to be together. She is my friend, my heart, and my love. Sometimes I feel like I need her more than my next breath. God has blessed me to be able to wake up next to the most beautiful woman everyday.
