Jen and I met through a mutual friend who is like a dear sister to me, Kim back in October 2008. From the very beginning Jen and I always had great conversations; although distance was between us. I was in between Miami, Atlanta and New York, while she was in Toronto. Thankfully technology became our very good friend. We spent the early part of our relationship sending countless emails, text messages, and endless hours on Skype. To this day, this is a significant part both of our days.
I initially visited Toronto, and soon after we took a trip to the Bahamas and spent a wonderful week together. This trip was going to do one of two things: either we would end up hating each other’s company or loving it. Since you are reading this, you know it’s the latter. During this beautiful week it was evident that our feelings had already evolved and we were in love. Since then several trips to see each other were taken, and it was evident that our days together were never long enough.
Jen and I began our relationship a bit different from today's standpoint of "relationships" by having a lot of conversation and asking each other questions about our family friends and backgrounds. This experience allowed us to learn so much about each other, how to communicate openly, and to always appreciate our moments together. The distance made it seemed like a challenge, but the love that developed made it seem like a small stepping stone. As hard as it was for Jen to open her heart and trust someone, it was even harder for me, but somehow it became easy for us to do so with each other. She had questions, and I lived in my head trying to figure out logic, but I soon realize that logic had nothing to do with love.

We will unite before God and our family and friends as a sign of our love and commitment to each other as man and wife. Our wedding will take place at Beaches Resort in Negril Jamaica. It is to take place at 3:00 p.m and I invite all in attendance to please be on time, not island time.

We have reserved one of the restaurants at the resort for our wedding reception. The reception will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. The reception will be a fully catered five course meal and open bar. Music and entertainment will be provided, a DJ will be on hand to accomodate any special requests that you may have.

We truly looking forward to having our family and friends share in this day with us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you in advance for the love and support you have already shown us. We know that you are excited and happy for us, just as we are.
We recognize that attending a destination wedding is a significant commitment and understand if you are unable to attend.
