Ahdionna Freeman & Christopher Shoffner
Location: Williamston, NC
Chris and I met three years ago while we were both working at Blockbuster. We didnt really pay one another much attention. We actually didn't really like each other; I thougt he was sarcastic and he considered me rather rude. About 6 months after our initial encounter, I got word through a mutual friend that Chris wanted to take me out. I thought, "He cant be serious" but I was bored and afterall, he was cute...
Our first date was on a rainy Friday night. We had decided that neither one of us wanted to go out; my car had gotten broken into earlier that day and I was VERY irritated. We decided to eat fast since it wasnt the nicest weather so we ran out to McDonald's - yes McDonald's - and headed back to my place to watch some movies and get accquainted. That night I found out that he was very interesting and quite intelligent. I think he kind of liked me too...
That day was July 21st, 2006. From that point we were inseperable and I've been head over heels in love ever since...
Since it is our desire to have God guide us through our marriage, we have decided to be married in a beautiful church set in Williamson, NC. A place that not only will allow us to become one under the watchful eye of the Lord but, also holds special meaning to Ahdionna. We will exchange vows on Saturday, June 6th at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
Chris and Ahdionna's reception will begin roughly 30 minutes after the wedding has concluded. It will take place at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center. Guests are encouraged to head directly from the church to the agricultural center which is located in Williamston, NC at 2900 NC Hwy 125 South. Once there, guests will be served appetizers until the Bridal Party arrives, at which point entrees will be served.
We would like to thank everyone for their love and support as we begin our lives together. We hope that everyone can be there to celebrate with us as we embark on this new journey as one. We sincerly appreciate all of your prayers and words of encouragement. We love you all!
