We met on a blind date in October 2003. We were both a little nervous about meeting each other, but we trusted our mutual friends that had set us up. Our first date was in Gatlinburg, TN on Oct. 17, 2003. We were together from that night on. Brandon was living in Seymour, TN (outside of Knoxville) and I was living in Cleveland, TN because I was going to school in Chattanooga. We had a great long-distance relationship until Feb. 2006, when Brandon decided to move to Cleveland. We have been learning more about each other and growing together over the past 4 years. We look forward to learning more and growing closer for many years to come.
Our wedding will be held at 4:00 pm on May 24, 2008. This is the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We chose this day in hopes that many of our family members who live out of town will be able to visit us and share this day. The ceremony will be held at Tasso Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN
The reception will be held in the banquet hall at The Holiday Inn Mountain View in Cleveland, TN. The reception will begin as soon as the ceremony is over for all guests, but due to pictures being made after the ceremony, the wedding party will join the reception as soon as possible. The travel time from the church to the Holiday Inn is approximately 15 minutes and about 7 miles.
A block of rooms are being help at The Holiday Inn Mountain View, 2400 Executive Park Drive, Cleveland, TN; 423-472-1504. The rooms have a group rate beginning at $64.95 and are held under Johansen/Ray wedding. Please call to book your room as soon as you make your travel plans (1-423-472-1500). Brandon and I would like to thank everyone for supporting us and loving us. We especially want to thank our parents for their continued love, support, advice, and the examples they have set for us. They have taught us some of what we should and shouldn't do in life. We would not be who we are today without them! We can't wait to see everyone who can attend the big day!
