Late November 2 yrs ago Danellis had just moved into a new nieghborhood. This VERY big, VERY greasy man walked across the street & asked her if she would buy GirlScout cookies. She told him for a picture of him in his uniform she would buy 3 boxes! They both laughed & he said his name was Kenny. They started talking and found out they had a few things in common; they were both recently divorced, both single parents, & both vowed to NEVER get marrried again! Danellis bought 3 boxes of cookies & Kenny walked back across the street. A couple days went by, they kept thinking about each other...Kenny called. Danellis asked him how he knew her #, he replied, "you wrote it on your order". They've been best friends since. MORAL:Never pass up GS cookies, you may be passing up the love of your life!
Our ceremony will take place on Saturday August 4, 2007 in Fort Meade, Florida. It will be located @ Patterson Park in the gazebo. Directions from Naples are as follows: Take I-75 N. to Punta Gorda/US Hwy 17 exit. Head N./E. on Hwy 17. Once you enter Ft. Meade you will pass Broadway (Main intersection and traffic light), park will be about a mile N. (on Hwy 17), on Left hand side. There are 2 parking lots one on the S. (accessible from side street) and one on the N. (accessible from Hwy 17 N.). Once you are @ the park you will cross a pedestrian bridge over lake, follow path to the gazebo on your Left. The ceremony will begin @ 3:00 pm. Guests may start arriving anytime after 2:30 pm. The wedding will take place outdoors. Attire: Summer, casual. In the event of rain: Reception site.
Our reception will be held in Fort Meade immediately following the ceremony @ The Fort Meade Outdoor Recreation Area (Home of the Ft.Meade Jamboree) in the pavillion @ the front of the park. Directions from Naples are the same as the directions to the ceremony site with this modification: Upon entering Ft. Meade you will turn Right onto Broadway, going E., the park enterance will be located on you Right hand side. Directions from ceremony site are as follows: Leaving Patterson Park; turn Right onto Hwy 17 (going S.) to Broadway, turn Left onto Broadway (going E.).
Please arrive ready for a GREAT time!! Theme: Summer B-B-Q! Dress accordingly (FOR REAL!! shorts, t-shirts, and sandals aren't just welcome...they're encouraged!!) Music, Kareoke, Dancing, Food, Drinks, and a Playground 4 kids!!
We both would like to thank all of you who have (in the words of Matina McBride's song) "Loved Us Anyway"! All of you mean so much to us; each and everyone of you are our friends and our family! Some of you have been there for each of us since we can remember, some of you have recently come into our lives, all of you are apart of Kenny and I in some way. Kenny and I have both walked a life path that each and every one of you have shared in in some way, some of you have always been there. Without our life experiences we maynot have been led to each other; to each of you,THANK YOU for being apart of our individual journeys and THANK YOU so much for being apart of our new journey together!!!
