Melissa and I were out at the Brewfest in town enjoying local microbrews (even though we drank mostly wine) and decided to go to a glow party afterwards at a local establishment.  After a while the place started filling up with people.  We had a few empty chairs at our table.  I went to get some more beverages and came back to see that someone had come to join us.  Brad and I started to get to know one another.  The night was fun with dancing and good conversation.  He offered to walk home with us after we noticed that the shuttle line was long.  We said goodnight hoping to meet again.

Unfortunately, we never exchanged numbers during the night.  So the next day with the help of his friend Flooby we were able to get in touch.  From that night on we went from being friends and in time soon to be husband and wife.
