How he did it! The day Jermaine proposed to me was an ordinary and relaxing day for me. I was laying in bed enjoying some ridiculous movie marathon on T.V. knowing full well that I should start getting ready to go out to dinner. When Jermaine came home he saw my relaxed state and seemed slightly annoyed and panicked. See he wanted to take me for a walk on the beach before we went to dinner and had an exact timeline of how the evening was going to go. I was planning on wearing heels that night so of course I was annoyed that I was going to be walking for a long distance in uncomfortable shoes. He reassured me that it would be a short walk and I could take off my shoes while we walked.
When we got the the spot that he had planned to take me the parking lot was full of emergency vehicles and firemen so he drove to another spot on the beach. This evening was not going according to his design but the set backs didn't stop him from completing his task. We sat on the beach for a while and enjoyed the scenery and as we got up to leave he stayed down on one knee and reached for his shoe. From his sock he pulled out a small box with a beautiful ring and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of course I said yes and was extremely happy and excited that he wanted me to be his wife. After the proposal we went to Mastros and had an amazing dinner and a perfect evening together. |
