Honeymoon or Wedding Destination: Jamaica!
Kevin and I have been dating for about 2 years. He proposed to me on Saturday May 24th, 2008 around 3:30pm (yes, I remember what time it was). We were in the middle of the Savannah River, our favorite place to be, on a rock that was picked out to be our special rock. I was totally taken by surprise when he got down on one knee and proposed to me right in the middle of the river! The proposal was definitely unexpected, but I didn’t hesitate in saying yes! The ring was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Of course we both did the sappy thing and cried our hearts out! That Saturday was one of the happiest days of life!
We do realize this in a non-traditional wedding, but we feel its different then the average “2nd marriage” type wedding. Neither Kevin nor I have ever been married! He has never proposed to another woman. He has waited all this time to find the perfect women, and he chose me. Do you have any idea how special that feels? We feel this wedding is very special, because it will be our first marriage! We both have two children from previous relationships that are going to be joining us as a family. We are absolutely elated! The wedding day can’t come quick enough.
We already have all of our household items/needs met, and can’t think of anything we would need for the household. We contemplated this knowing some of you would want to give us something, and we decided it would be best to set up a Honeymoon Registry. This way, those that want to give gifts will be able to give something that we'll desire, use, and enjoy.
We would like to thank everyone in our family, my mother & father for everything they are doing to get this wedding going. We would like to thank my son Dennis and daughter Savannah, and Kevin’s children Jordan and Courtney for being happy for us and being a part of our special day. We would like to thank all of our friends, especially the Hash, for the good times and unbelievable fun that we’ve experienced together as result of all of you.
