Travis and Dory met while working at University Mall in Chapel Hill, NC. Travis was working at Verizon Wireless and Dory was working at the toy store. Luckily the Verizon kiosk was located right in front of the toy store! Travis and Dory would often make small talk but thanks to our friend and bridesmaid, Madeleine, Travis decided to ask Dory out. "Thanks Madeleine!" The rest as they say is history and Dory and Travis have been dating ever since.
Travis proposed to Dory on August 4th, 2010 on the beach, one of Dory and Travis' favorite places to go for a get away. Travis was super romantic when he drew a heart in the sand and got down on one knee and brought out The Ring. Dory, of course, said "Yes!"

The wedding will be held at Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church. The church is located at
316 Hebron Road, Durham, NC 27704. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm.

The reception will be held immediately after the wedding ceremony. The reception will be held at Rigsbee Hall, located at 208 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC 27701. Parking is available in the parking deck located at the corner of Rigsbee Avenue and West Chapel Hills Street. Parking in the deck is free and is only half a block from Rigsbee Hall.
Hors d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner will be served.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Durham Marriott Convention Center, located at 201 Foster St, Durham, NC 27701. The hotel is within walking distance, about one block, of Rigsbee Hall.
The closest airport to the wedding and reception cite is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, RDU.
