Ron and I met one lucky day at work in December 2008 when he came in for an interview and I happened to be on the interview panel. One of my co-workers said "here is one for you O'Donnell" and I answered "he's not my type". Little did I know that I was never more wrong in my life. We had chemisty from the start! Soon after I moved from New Cumberland to Chambersburg Pa to live with Ron and the rest is history. Ron is originally from Buffalo NY and relocated to Pa for a job in juvenile justice. We just recently bought a beautiful house in Shippensburg Pa and plan to extend our family in the near future. We will keep everyone posted on that one!

Our wedding will be held on the beach of Beeches Resort at 4pm on April 4th, 2011. We ultimately chose a destination wedding because of my life long dream to get married on a beach. We also had to be very aware of the cost due to our recent purchase of a home. The attire at our wedding will be very relaxed. I will be wearing a white evening gown and my two sisters will be wearing navy blue bridesmaids dresses. Ron will be wearing chocolate brown linen pants with a white shirt. My brother and his brother will be wearing the same. I would like family to coordinate with those colors for the purpose of pictures but ultimately you can wear what you would feel the most comfortable in. Most of us probably wont be wearing shoes.

There will be a dinner reception on the beach following the ceremony. I am hoping we will get to see the sunset together. We will also probably have a private steel drum band to entertain us.

Heather will make all room accomadation as well as flight if needed. You may also book your flight through American Airlines (main carrier to Curacao) or expedia.com. We will most likely be flying from the Washington area but you pretty much need to get a connector flight to Miami and then a flight from Miami to Curacao. We will arrive on the island shortly after 2pm on March 30th. Others are planning to arrive on the 31st of March or 1st of April.
