We met one fateful day over 18 years ago, and we were like best old friends.  We feel that we have been married in spirit ever since that day. We actually had our own private wedding and stated our own vows in the church of our own religion before God and the Universe.  The Past, Present and Future Ring that I have worn for many years is the symbol of our undying love and devotion to one another.  We finally decided to make this marriage "official" with a stress-free, no hassle destination wedding.  Those of you that really know us might ask, "What could be more appropriate for Nan & Mike than a beautiful tropical beach wedding?" LOL.

We have chosen the fabulous Breezes Bahamas Resort based on their 5-Star Service reputation.  We will have a small beach reception with cake, cocktails and champagne.  With flowing ribbons, fabrics, and floral arrangements in tropical oranges, yellows and pinks, and glittering crystal starfish aplenty, we plan to start the rest of our lifelong road trip together on the warm sands of the world famous Cable Beach with the tropical breezes blowing.  (The R-Word is forbidden, but we have a back up plan - a patio overlooking the beach).  The life we have built around the ocean and beach will continue as we share our vows and affirm our love and commitment to one another on our special day.  We have chosen the day we have celebrated for the past 18 years, Valentine's Day, as we make our day for lovers our Anniversary Day.  We plan to celebrate Valentine's Day forever, as we will remain lovers and friends forever.

We plan to have a big, fun, loud reception party back home so that everyone can come together with us and help us celebrate our love and continued commitment to one another.  In the meantime, we are really looking forward to sharing the details of our special day and our fabulous 7 day tropical adventure.
