  | We met at a family party in New Jersey (our families knew each other). We were both very young the first time we met, so the second time neither of us remembered ever meeting each other. This time however, we hit it off and after some shyness and some pushing from my mom (Debbie) - Guy in the orange bathing suit, she likes you!!! LOL, and his aunts. We knew we liked each other a lot and exchanged e-mails and phone numbers.
Who proposed: Robert proposed in the Hibachi Japanese Steak House on our third anniversary. At first I did not have a reaction, because I thought he was kidding with me. Robert had joked around previously with a false ring and therefore I did not know it was real. But, when I realized the proposal was the real deal, I jumped into his arms and said yes!!! Yes!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!! I was stunned it was real.
Well we both dated long distance for about three years, because he lived in New Jersey and I lived in Delaware. I would go to New Jersey on the weekends with my mom. And we would watch movies together or go out to the roller rink or the beach. From the very beginning of our relationship, we had a very huge connection and it grew stronger every day. When Robert graduated from high school he moved to Delaware. We had our struggles along the way during this time, but made it through. When I graduated we all moved to Florida so that Robert and I could go to college and Chris could start high school. We had some major changes and we hit a very rocky period during our relationship and split up for awhile. But, we learned very fast that we missed each other and that no one could ever take the others place. We dated for awhile and then decided to get engaged once again and this time I proposed to him.
